According to the international news agency, during a friendly football match played in Egypt, the young footballer Muhammad Farooq Benzema suddenly had a chest pain and collapsed on the field. Colleagues rushed him to the hospital where doctors were providing medical aid but he could not survive. Doctors said that the death of the football player was due to cardiac arrest.
The Egyptian Football Federation and local clubs have expressed their grief over the sudden death of the emerging footballer and said that we are all equal partners with the family of Muhammad Farooq in this hour of grief. This is an irreparable loss to all of us.
It should be clear that 33 Mohamed Farouq was known as Benzema in Egypt and is very popular among Egyptian youth. He excelled in domestic football. He was named Benzema because of his resemblance to Algerian-born French footballer Karim Benzema.
