Faisalabad Waste Management Company has put the future of the workers at stake by referring the Daily Wages unemployed to a private contractor, Baba Latif Ansari.

Faisalabad(94 News, City Reporter) Faisalabad Waste Management Company has handed over its 1350 daily wages employees to private contractor Dr. Rai Qamar's company care. The future of the workers is at stake. Baba Lachef Ansari said that the contract that was made with the private contractor was not shared with the sentry workers. The management of Faisalabad Waste Management has not paid the minimum wage of 37,000 thousand rupees for five months, nor has the compensation for the work done on Eid-ul-Adha been paid. Before handing over to the contractor, it should be told whether social security facility will be available to daily wages employees or not. Will there be a pension on retirement or not? Will the company pay its employees' contributions on time? By removing the supervisor who has been working for 15 to 20 years and installing a new supervisor, instead of improving the work, problems may occur at the level of the union council. The Faisalabad Waste Management employees have also announced to run a vigorous movement for their demands and legitimate rights, for which a press conference will be held on November 12 at 3 pm at the Faisalabad Press Club to announce the future action plan, in which the schedule of regular protest meetings will be fixed.
