Parvez Elahi arrested in Lahore High Court
Lahore (94 news) The Lahore High Court has given final deadline to the IG Islamabad to appear in the contempt of court case for not bringing PTI leader and former chief minister Pervez Elahi home safely.
تفصیلات کے مطابق لاہور ہائیکورٹ کے جسٹس سلطان تنویر احمد نے قیصرہ الٰہی کی درخواست پر سماعت کی جس میں درخواست گزار نے موقف اختیار کیا کہ عدالت نے پولیس افسران کو پرویز الٰہی کوبحفاظت گھرپہنچانےکی ہدایت کی تھی مگر پولیس افسران ان کو بحفاظت گھر پہنچانے میں ناکام رہے۔
During the hearing, the Lahore High Court gave final deadline to the IG Islamabad to appear and said that it was the High Court's order not to arrest Parvez Elahi, does the IG consider himself more powerful than the court?
On this, the public prosecutor said that now IG Islamabad has changed, the court said that if he has changed, it does not mean that he has been acquitted of this case, IG Islamabad is taking this case easy, he will have to bear the consequences.
