Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Senior Vice Chairman of Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association Sheikh Muhammad Tahir inaugurated the 30th Textile Asia of Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturing and Exporters Association. 2025 While inaugurating the exhibition, he said that it is a matter of pride for us to have the textile exhibition in Salabad and it is of key importance in the economy of Pakistan, but according to the contemporary requirements, this sector needs to be developed on modern scientific lines. He further said that the share of Faisalabad in the total textile exports is 60%. Our industrialists are also producing world class products which need to be introduced in global markets. In this regard, Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association and Chamber of Commerce are trying to establish an international standard expo centre. He urged the people associated with the textile sector to introduce new technology so that their manufactured products can be competitive in the global markets.
