Illegal commercialization in FDA controlled colonies is not acceptable under any circumstances, Asif Chaudhry

Faisalabad (94 news) Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has directed the field staff to check the illegal commercialization in the residential colonies controlled by the FDA more responsibly and in case of violation, seal the concerned building immediately and take further departmental action.

Taking strict notice of laziness and inattention of some building inspectors, he ordered that no commercial building should be established on non-commercial roads while continuously checking the buildings under construction for commercial purposes on declared commercial roads and no building should be constructed without commercialization approval. He ordered to speed up the recovery of arrears of commercialization fees and stop the construction work until the dues are paid. Director General FDA directed to ensure adherence to building by-laws and said that all buildings should be constructed as per approved building plans, not avoiding departmental action against those who violate the plans. He warned that if any FDA official is found to be complicit in the violation of building laws and commercialization laws, he will be held to the strictest account, so ensure the enforcement of the law by performing departmental duties with integrity and good faith. He asked the officers of the concerned departments to keep the field staff active and their departmental performance should be closely monitored.
