FDA approves New Pakistan Housing Program plan

Faisalabad (94 news) The Public Private Partnership Cell of the Government of Punjab has given preliminary approval to the proposed project under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program organized by the FDA, according to which a total of one and a half thousand houses of three and five marlas have been planned to be constructed in FDA City on 523 kanals of land at an estimated cost of five billion rupees. Director General FDA Mohammad Sohail Khawaja said this during a meeting in which the progress of various development projects was reviewed.

Additional Director General Aamir Aziz, Chief Engineer Shahid Mehmood, Director Planning and Development Hasan Zaheer and other officers participated in the meeting. The Director General said that the proposed project of construction of houses under Naya Pakistan Housing Program is of great importance and utility, which is proposed to be implemented in the available space in FDA City. He said that during the public private partnership sale meeting, the implementation of Naya Pakistan housing program with the support of private sector was reviewed and in agreement with the proposal of FDA, funds of Rs. He said that financing, mortgage conditions and other rules and regulations for this project under Naya Pakistan Housing Program will be implemented according to the government's decided policy. During the meeting, other matters were also reviewed for the progress of this project and the Director General instructed the concerned officers to keep all the planning comprehensive and transparent.
