Medicines used to save the lives of patients approved Coruna

Washington (94 news) Administration of food and medicine in the US (FDA) has allowed the use of special medicines to save the lives of certain patients of Corona virus.

According to the FDA, doctors are authorized for emergency use of chloroquine sulfate, chloroquine phosphate products. Both drugs are used against malaria and some other diseases including arthritis and are taken orally.

According to the authorities, an alternative has been found to some extent for not having a drug against the corona virus. In the event that a clinical trial is not possible, doctors will be able to prescribe chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate drugs to adult and elderly corona patients being treated in hospitals.

Prior to this, important information regarding the use of chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate should be provided to both healthcare providers and patients, including the possible risks of using both drugs and drug interactions.

Although there is no officially approved medicine available against Corona, the US Health Minister says that American and world scientists had suggested various medicines to deal with Corona, including these two medicines.

However, scientific evidence to prove its effectiveness against this virus can only be obtained through clinical trials, which will take time. In this situation, if the Secretary of Health authorizes an emergency use of a drug, the FDA gets the power to prescribe an unapproved medical procedure or to allow the unapproved use of a previously approved procedure to treat another disease to deal with chemical, biological, and radiological or nuclear hazards.
