Vasa has issued an order to disconnect illegal sewage connections of private housing societies

Faisalabad (94 news) Managing Director WASA Aamir Aziz has issued an order to disconnect the illegal sewerage connections of the private housing societies. In this regard, the concerned officers and teams have been clearly instructed to submit a report on a daily basis. At present in Faisalabad, majority of the private societies colonies have issued sewerage connections to the residents without permission and approval, which are connected to the sewerage system of WASA, due to which the load on the sewerage system of WASA is causing sewage problems. Illegally connected to WASA sewerage system, their connections should be disconnected. He further said that all such private housing colonies should either regularize their sewerage connections and pay the dues of WASA Faisalabad, otherwise their connections should be disconnected indiscriminately. There will be no compromise.
