A ceremony was held in connection with receiving the honor of ISO certification. The special guest of the ceremony was Commissioner Faisalabad Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh who handed over the notification of ISO certification to Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Usman Ghani. Assembly members, Muslim League leaders, administrative officers, businessmen, civil society and municipal corporation officers were present in the ceremony. A cake was also cut in celebration of the municipal corporation's planning branch receiving certification. The chief officer thanked the Commissioner Faisalabad and the assembly members and assured that no effort would be spared to maintain this honor. Hamid Sheikh took charge as the administrator. He informed about the procedure during obtaining ISO certification and said that the records of all branches of the municipal corporation are available on e-filing. He held the post of administrator. He said that with the spirit of public service, it was a priority to ensure transparency in the affairs of municipal corporation branches and during his appointment, he did not sign a single manual file but all the records were attached to the Punjab Information Technology Board. A meeting was held to compare the records while the procedure for future model maps is being brought. Moreover, the municipal corporation is committed to ISO 9001 certification for other branches in the same manner. The commissioner said that after the certification of the planning branch, the residents of the municipal limits will be able to get world-class services.
