Peshawar (94 news) Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir said during a meeting with leaders of political parties regarding the establishment of law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that the enemy will try to spread fear but we will not back down. Every attempt to disrupt the peace in the country will be given a decisive and vigorous response.
Army Public Relations (ISPR) According to Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Peshawar today where he was received by Corps Commander Peshawar. The Army Chief was given a detailed briefing on the current security situation in the country and the ongoing anti-terrorist operations against Fitnah-ul-Khawarij. Federal Interior Minister and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister were also present on this occasion. Appreciating the sacrifices and determination of Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies, the Army Chief said that the exemplary achievements of our security agencies in the war against terrorism are a source of pride for the nation.
he said “Our forces have been effectively neutralizing terrorists through unparalleled courage, professionalism and sacrifice, eliminating key terrorist leaders, destroying their networks and infrastructure, sending a message that terrorism has no place in our country. This war will continue and we will bring it to its logical conclusion, God willing.”آرمی چیف نے مزید کہا کہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے ادارے شہریوں کی حفاظت اور امن و امان کے قیام کے لیے انتھک محنت کر رہے ہیں اور انہوں نے کئی حملوں کو ناکام بنا کر ملک میں امن قائم رکھا۔
انہوں نے ہر آپریشن کو سیکیورٹی فورسز کے عزم، پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیت اور تیاری کا ثبوت قرار دیا۔جنرل عاصم منیر نے واضح پیغام دیا کہ ملک کے امن کو خراب کرنے کی ہر کوشش کا فیصلہ کن اور بھرپور جواب دیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ “The enemy may try to spread fear and chaos, but we will not back down. Enemy elements will be dealt with iron hands and will take more heavy losses.”Appreciating the high morale of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army, the Army Chief said that they are determined to protect the sovereignty of the motherland and that the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies are united as an invincible force.
Later, the Army Chief held a separate meeting with politicians belonging to various political parties of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The participants emphasized the need for a unified political voice and public support against terrorism. The political representatives pledged unwavering support to the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the nation's fight against terrorism and agreed that unity beyond political differences is essential to end the ideology of extremism.
