New tool introduced to identify online fraud

London (94 news) A new fraud detection tool has been introduced to protect consumers from online fraud in the UK. The name of this new tool is 'Ask Silver' and users can easily access this advanced tool through WhatsApp itself.

To do this, users just need to sign up for 'Ask Silver' after which the tool will automatically start appearing in their WhatsApp account's chat list. After signing up, whenever a user receives a suspicious message or email or suspects a website, all they have to do is take a screenshot and upload it to the 'Ask Silver' tool, after which the tool will immediately analyze whether the message, email or website is a fraud or not. Not only this, but the tool will also inform the user about other measures to protect themselves from online fraud, including measures such as reporting a fraudulent message, email or website. The tool's founder, Alex Somerville, has developed it in partnership with 'Get Safe Online', a UK non-profit scam protection group, to raise awareness of online fraud protection.
