Preliminary investigation report of Daharki train accident prepared


Karachi (94 news) The preliminary investigation report of the train accident that occurred near Deharki area of Sindh yesterday has been prepared.
According to the preliminary investigation report of the train accident, the accident occurred due to the fracture of the welding joint of the right track of the up track. The right track joint of the up track was welded together, which was found to be broken. Millat express due to broken track 12 Passenger coaches fell on the down track. Karachi-bound Sir Syed Express collided with the coaches of Millat Express on the down track. As a result of the accident, the Sir Syed Express engine and 4 Coaches derailed.
In the investigation report, it is said that the engine of Millat Express and 6 The passenger coaches remained on the track, while the Sir Syed Express 12 Passenger coaches remain on the track. The black box data of the locomotives of the trains involved in the accident is being extracted, the information from the black box will be included in the investigation by the Federal Inspectors of Railways.
The investigation report also stated that Sir Syed Express was going from Rawalpindi to Karachi, while Mulat Express was going from Karachi to Sargodha.
It should be noted that the number of people who died in the train accident that occurred near Deharki in Ghotki district yesterday 62 has happened, while more than a hundred have been injured.
