Awareness walk on the occasion of World Anti-Drug Day, commitment to get rid of drugs
Faisalabad (94 News, Hamza Nadeem) A walk has been organized yesterday on the occasion of the World Anti-Drug Day organized by Anjuman Anti Narcotics and Faisalabad NGOs Network, the walk started from Zilla Council Chowk and ended at Kacharibazar.
The aim of the awareness walk was to create awareness among people about drugs, so that our young generation can avoid this scourge. Assistant Commissioner Zafarullah, Deputy Director Anti-Narcotics Force Mashuq Ali, Dr. Imtiaz Dogger Head of the Department, Deputy Director Social Welfare Nasir Chadhar, District Health Officer Dr. Syed Ataul Naim, Rao Muhammad Iqbal Principal Government Higher Secondary School Kotwali Road, Dr. Sarfarazanur Sadar. Anti-Narcotics Association, Chairman NGOs Network Mian Nadeem Ahmed, General Secretary Yusuf Adnan, Anwar Khan, Parvez Chaudhry, Adil Work Advocate, Dr. Manzoor Advocate, Mujahid Butt, Dr. Abu Bakr Javed, Arshad Ansari, students of Medical University and other colleges. Lawyers, doctors and representatives from various walks of life participated.
The walk emphasized the need to create awareness about anti-drugs. Nasir Chadhar said that the youth should be engaged in positive activities. So that the young generation can get rid of this scourge, he said that as the population is increasing, the use of drugs is also increasing in proportion. He also appreciated the anti-narcotics services and said that it is the responsibility of parents to keep a close eye on their children.
Deputy Director Anti Narcotics Force Mashuq Ali said that many types of drugs have been introduced which is worrying, the society should also identify people who are engaged in this business so that legal action can be taken against them.
میاں ندیم احمد، یوسف عدنان نے کہا کہ ہم سب کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ اپنے بچوں پر خصوصی توجہ دیں اور انکو دوست بنائیں تاکہ کوئی غلط افراد انکے دوست بن کر انکو غلط راستے پر نہ ڈال دیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ تعلیمی اداروں کی کڑی نگرانی کی جائے، والدین اساتذہ کرام کے ساتھ رابطے میں رہیں اور انکے ساتھ تعاون کریں تاکہ انکے بچوں کو منشیات کی لعنت سے بچایا جا سکے۔
