Seminar and Iftar dinner organized under the auspices of PDF and Central Interfaith Peace Committee

It is a pleasure for people of both religions to break their fast together, such events promote the spirit of love and affection, the speakers said.

Faisalabad: (94 news) Under the auspices of the Central Interfaith Peace Committee Pakistan and Peace and Development Foundation, a seminar and Iftar dinner program was held on joint social and cultural initiatives for the collective society.
The ceremony was presided over by Pir Qari Abdul Rehman Qadri, head of the Interfaith Peace Committee of Pakistan. A large number of representatives of the Muslim and Christian communities participated in the event, including members of the District Peace Committee, lawyers, scholars, priests, representatives of civil society and a large number of journalists.
Abdul Samad Ma'ad, Allama Sikandar Hayat Zaki Secretary General United Jamaat -e -Hadith Pakistan, President Interfaith Peace Committee Pakistan Hafiz Shahid Ashraf, Secretary General Sahibzada Tahir Mahmood Sialvi, Member District Peace Committee Maulana Hafiz Khabib Ahmed, Dr. Abdul Hassan, Dr. Ahaznar Akhzad, Dr. Netter Noman Younis, Pastor Justin Albert, Chairman Faisalabad NGOs Network Mian Nadeem Ahmed, Pastor Irshad Prakash and others addressed. Speakers termed the fast season of Ramadan and the Christian community as a season of changes and appearances in their behavior. Calling Ramadan a month of goodwill, sympathy and peace, it was considered necessary to share in each other's suffering. Through a resolution, a tribute was paid to the officers and men of the martyred Pak army in the past, with all the forces responsible for Pakistan and national security.
