Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry's briefing to the Commissioner

Faisalabad (94 news) Commissioner Faisalabad Musrat Jabin was briefed by Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry. During the briefing session, he informed about Faisalabad Development Authority's organizational structure, jurisdiction, legal framework, performance, development activities and other related issues. Additional Commissioner Coordinate Syed Tanvir Murtaza, Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rand, Directors Junaid Hasan Manj, Yasir Ejaz Chatta, Asim Mahmood, Afnan Saeed Randhawa, Deputy Directors Adnan Shahzad, Afzal Ansari, Faran Siddiqui and other officers were present on this occasion. Commissioner Faisalabad appreciated the details of the briefing and the strategy of FDA on the better use of financial and administrative resources and said that steps will be taken to strengthen the foundations of urban development by integrating the services of institutions engaged in public welfare and development activities. He urged to take speedy steps to remove the obstacles facing Faisalabad Master Plan. He termed the sale of plots available in FDA City to Fesco as a useful step for the financial stability of the welcoming institution. Commissioner Faisalabad assured full support to solve the problems faced by FDA and said that FDA will be actively involved in the development process. Earlier, Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry informed Commissioner Faisalabad about the salient aspects of Faisalabad Master Plan and the current situation during the briefing and said that in this regard, the services of a consultant regarding environmental protection have been obtained to remove the objections raised by the Supreme Court. He said that the digitalization process has been completed to bring the quality of FDA services in line with the modern requirements. He also told about the details of the budget and sources of income, slum issues, ongoing operations against illegal housing schemes and encroachments, ongoing development initiatives, progress in plantation campaign, sports complex FDA City, DMC sub-campus construction projects, future development projects.
