PEMRA 3 Ban on private TV channels

Islam Abad (94 news) PEMRA 3 An indefinite ban has been imposed on private TV channels, private news TV channels 24 News, Capital TV and so far the transmission was immediately stopped, the decision was made to violate the rules.

According to the details, the Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Pemra has banned the broadcasting of three private TV channels of Pakistan for an indefinite period and immediately stopped their broadcasting across the country. It has been reported that private news TV channels 24 News, Capital TV and Aftak violated Pemra rules after which it was decided to ban these channels from broadcasting. The management of these three TV channels is claiming that their channels have disappeared on cable networks across the country. Broadcasting of these channels has been stopped across the country.

PEMRA issued notices to news channels broadcasting the press conference of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz. Pemra's spokesperson said that Maryam Nawaz held a press conference against the judiciary and state institutions, which is a violation of the law to broadcast live.
