Malaysian Prime Minister's visit to India, specific position on the extradition of Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik

Delhi (94 news) On the occasion of his visit to India, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, took a categorical stand on the question of Dr. Zakir Naik's extradition to India, saying that concrete evidence must be provided for it.
Speaking in a session during his visit to India, when the Malaysian Prime Minister was asked to give a stand on New Delhi's request for the extradition of renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik, Anwar Ibrahim said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not raise this issue during the negotiations. Continuing his speech, he said that the problem here is that I am not talking about a single person but about concrete evidence that shows that the atrocities have been committed by an individual, group or class.
The Malaysian Prime Minister said that we are ready to accept any idea, if evidence is provided, we will not close our eyes to terrorism. We have always had a strong stance on terrorism. We have been working with India on issues related to terrorism. Strong evidence is needed to support the stance of action on extremism.
He also said that I do not think that one case should be a hindrance in the development of mutual relations between two countries.
