Women Empowerment Forum was formed in Faisalabad


Faisalabad (94 news) A Women Empowerment Forum was established in Faisalabad in which women will be given awareness about skill training and change in social attitudes.
According to the details, a special meeting of Women Empowerment Forum was held at Faisalabad MNCH Social Security Hospital under the auspices of South Asia Partnership Pakistan, in which Program South Asia Partnership Rahshim Khan, Dr. Anjum Raza Medical Superintendent Social Security Hospital, Waheed Khaliq Ramey Executive Member Chamber of Commerce, Parveen Latif Ansari Women Workers Alliance, Mian Nadeem Ahmed Chairman Faisalabad NGOs Network, Baba Latif Ansari. Chairman Pakistan Labor National Movement, Rai Yasin Kharl, Deputy Director Labor East, Yasmin Tahira, Khawaja Fatir Advocate, Dr. Farah, Dr. Amina and other representatives of Social Security Department participated. While introducing the program in the meeting, it was said that this forum is a part of a program run with the aim of empowering women and persons with disabilities and creating a favorable environment for their employment. South Asia Partnership is working in the same program in Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad and Sialkot with the support of German cooperation. Women Empowerment Forum has been established at Faisalabad level involving various organizations including people from Hosiery & Garments and Textile Industry.
