FDA enforcement teams are actively working against illegal housing schemes, Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has said that the strictest policy has been adopted against illegal housing, in this regard the enforcement teams of FDA are actively working while related to the sale of plots. ”File Mafia” is also strongly discouraged. He said this while listening to the problems of citizens under the open door policy in his office. Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chatha, Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Director State Management Junaid Hasan Manj and other officers were present on the occasion. Director General FDA received the requests from the citizens and issued orders to the concerned officers to solve their problems. He told the citizens that modern reforms have been implemented to increase the quality of FDA services and provide speedy relief. In this regard, online departmental proceedings are being done diligently through digital technology, under which ownership clearance certificates of properties, town planning reports, possession slips have been issued in real time. DG FDA said that operations against illegal constructions and encroachments are ongoing while in FDA-approved housing schemes, building control matters are under the jurisdiction of FDA, so approval of building plans/maps is necessary before construction of houses in these schemes, otherwise the culprits will face the law. He asked the officers in-charge of various departments to give special attention to the immediate resolution of the problems/complaints of the people and to provide redressal to the satisfaction of the petitioners. He directed to keep a close watch on the performance of the subordinate staff and strict action should be taken against the thieving, dishonest and negligent staff.
