New Delhi (94 news) You have heard and seen incidents of throwing acid on women many times before, a man became a victim of acid attack in India. The girl threw acid on the boy's face for refusing the marriage. This incident took place in Vaishali district of Bihar state.
According to the police, the 24-year-old accused along with an accomplice threw acid on a 22-year-old youth named Dharmendra Kumar.

Vaishali Superintendent of Police Ravi Ranjan Kumar said that at 2 o'clock on the night of the incident, the accused made a phone call to the youth and expressed her desire to meet him. So the boy went to his house. After the meeting, when the boy started to leave, the accused and a male accomplice threw acid on his face.
Hearing the screams of the boy, the local people gathered and shifted him to the hospital. The accused was arrested by the police the next day, but her accomplice is still absconding. The accused told during investigation that the family of the victim boy had arranged his marriage elsewhere, on which the accused threw acid on his face in anger.
