Declaring a mining bill as contradictory to religion is a negligence of children's rights: Human Rights Commission

Islam Abad (94 news) The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan has expressed concern over the objection of the Islamic Ideological Council regarding the approved bill on early marriage.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan has said that the bill against child marriage is indispensable for the protection of children, declaring the bill approved by the parliament to be against religion is a negation of children's rights.
According to the HRCP, immediate implementation of the law is necessary to prevent the exploitation of girl children, so the protection of children should not be made a religious conflict and the state should fulfill its constitutional and international obligations to prevent child marriages and protect children. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan says that there are serious reservations about obstructing the Islamic Ideology Council's bill. One-sided religious interpretations should not be an obstacle in the way of legislation. The HRCP further says that ending child marriage is a legal and moral requirement, and the promise of protecting children should be fulfilled.
It should be noted that this month, the Senate approved the bill to ban the marriage of young children in Islamabad, but the bill to ban the marriage of young children has been rejected by the Council of Islamic Ideology.
According to the declaration of the Islamic Ideological Council 18 Other clauses were also declared un-Islamic, including setting punishments for marriage under the age of one year.
