The Sharif family challenged the decision of the accountability court in the Islamabad High Court

Islam Abad(Web Desk) Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain retired Safdar filed an appeal in the Islamabad High Court against the punishment given by the accountability court in the Avenfield reference.

ہائیکورٹ میں دائر اپیل میں احتساب عدالت کا فیصلہ کالعدم قرار دینے اور اپیل پر فیصلہ آنے تک سزا معطل کر کے مجرموں کو ضمانت پر رہا کرنے کی استدعا کی گئی ہے۔

According to the text of the appeal, the accountability court sentenced without fulfilling the requirements of justice, while the Islamabad High Court has been requested to annul the decision of the judge of the accountability court, Muhammad Bashir, and acquit him.

It is further stated in the appeal that there was a contradiction in the allegations of the supplementary reference and the interim reference, the statement of the cleanup stated that the prosecution had failed to prove the charge and therefore the benefit of the doubt is given to the accused, the judge of the accountability court was guilty of misconduct.
