According to the sources, the biggest restructuring in the history of ministries and departments in Punjab has been decided, downsizing will be done in redundant, unprofitable and loss-making institutions, excess institutions doing the same work will be eliminated. .

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz approved the restructuring plan, under which the size of the ministries will be reduced to facilitate the execution of government affairs, and different institutions that perform the same work will be merged.

Sources have said that restructuring and downsizing will make the performance of institutions and public service processes simpler, easier and faster, which will result in annual savings of billions of rupees and a huge reduction in government expenditure, which will create financial capacity.
