Federal Cabinet Meeting, Salary and Pensions Increase Approved

According to the details, the meeting of the federal cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is going on, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb gave a briefing on the important points of the federal budget.

Sources say that there was a discussion on the issue of salaries of government employees in the federal cabinet, the proposal of 6 percent increase in salaries was discussed in the federal cabinet meeting, sources say that some members of the federal cabinet supported a 10 percent increase in salaries.

Sources say that in the meeting, a 6 percent increase in the salaries of government employees was approved, and a 7 percent increase in the pension of pensioners was approved.
