Prominent social activist Parveen Rahman murder case accused's sentences nullified

The Sindh High Court annulled the sentences awarded in the Parveen Rehman murder case.

The Sindh High Court said that the accused in the Parveen Rehman murder case should be released if they are not wanted in other cases. Among the accused are Rahim Swati, Amjad Hussain, Ayaz Swati and Ahmed Hussain.

It should be noted that the Anti-Terrorism Court on December 2021 I sentenced the accused to life imprisonment 2 times.

It should be noted that Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman was shot dead by motorcycle-riding armed men in Mangho Peer area of ​​Karachi in 2013 when she was returning home from office.

The court had sentenced four criminals to life imprisonment two times after being found guilty, Ayaz Swati, Rahim Swati, Amjad Hussain alias Amjad Afridi and Ahmed alias Pappu Kashmiri were also sentenced to life imprisonment.
