A plan is prepared to avoid protests on the privatization of state-owned electricity companies


Islam Abad (94 news) The government enacted the Compulsory Service Act to avoid possible protests over the privatization of electricity companies.
According to the details, the Federal Government has imposed Compulsory Service Act on Distribution Companies, NTDC and Government Gencoes, the purpose of the implementation of Service Act is to avoid protests during privatization. Power division sources say that protests and strikes will be banned under the Compulsory Service Act, employees and unions will not be able to interfere in work under the Act, union activities in Discos, NTDC, Jenkos will also be banned. Action will be taken against those who violate the Compulsory Service Act, the government 6 Compulsory Service Act has been implemented on all power sector institutions for the month, after the notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Power Division has issued instructions in this regard.
Sources further said that the DISCOs, NTDC and Jankoski Unions and employees are likely to protest during the privatization process of state-owned power companies, which has led to the imposition of the Compulsory Service Act.
