Ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been reached, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif


Doha (94 news) Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif confirmed the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan and said that both the neighboring countries will respect each other's territory.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry announced that Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to a ceasefire. This ceasefire was decided during the negotiations in Doha. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, it was said that the agreement on the ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan was reached through the mediation of Qatar and Turkey. The two countries have also agreed to hold more meetings in the next few days and to create a permanent mechanism for peace and stability between the two countries.
Later, the defense minister and head of the Pakistani delegation for the talks in Qatar, Khawaja Asif, confirmed on X that a ceasefire agreement has been reached between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He said that terrorism from Afghanistan on Pakistan's soil will stop immediately, both neighboring countries will respect each other's land, Alhamdulillah, the delegations will meet again in Istanbul on October 25 and discuss detailed issues, we are deeply grateful to both the brotherly countries of Qatar and Turkey.
