WASA cleared the adjoining areas including eight bazaars and the main Imam Bargah.
Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) On the instructions of Managing Director Vasa Sohail Qadir Cheema, the operations staff were continuously engaged in field drainage till late night and in a short time, the adjoining eight markets including Chowk Ghanta Ghar and the adjacent areas including the central Imam Bargat were completely cleared of rainwater. Similarly, the operations officers and staff also completed the drainage of water from Sheikhupura Road, General Bus Stand, Dujkot Road, Millat Road, New Green Town, Jhang Road near Shell Pump, Race Course Road, while along with this, rain water was cleared from Khadija Mahmood Hospital Chaban Road, Riaz Shahid Chowk Iqbal Stadium, Main Jail Road, Main Bilal Road, Chenab Club Road, Pakistan Chowk Ghulam Muhammadabad. Special measures have been taken for rapid drainage of rainwater to the citizens during the rainy season for which all resources are being utilized. He further said that all the machinery is operational and the field staff is focused for the monsoon season, will provide rainwater drainage facility to the citizens in a short time.
