Legacy leaders meet MD WASA, important talks on sewerage issues

Faisalabad (94 news) Managing Director Vasa Aamir Aziz has directed special de-silting of the smart drain of Sheikhupura Road while clarifying that a sustainable solution to the sewage problems in Hajiabad, Ghaziabad is being worked out. He said this while talking to the concerned officers during a meeting with the former member of the Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Faqir Hussain Dogar. On this occasion, Deputy Managing Director Services Usman Zia, Director Admin Javed Ghani, Director Operations West Makhdoom Babar, Director Drainage Farhan Akram and other officers were also present. Former Member of Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Faqir Hussain Dogar pointed out regarding the de-silting of sewage lines and drainage lines in different areas of his constituency, on which MD WASA assured that WASA is trying its best to provide quality drainage and water supply services to the citizens of Faisalabad and there will be no compromise regarding service delivery. Special de-silting and cleaning should be done, while the Director of Operations should also start a special campaign to clean the sewage lines of Hajiabad, Ghaziabad. He clarified that an updated schedule should be issued for the de-silting of drainage and sewage lines, according to which a report should be submitted on the basis of de-silting so that the sewage problems of the citizens can be solved in a sustainable manner.
