Planning is being done for the preservation and restoration of historical buildings and cultural heritage of Faisalabad, Deputy Commissioner

Faisalabad (94 news) Under the auspices of the district administration, all-round planning is being done to protect and restore the historical buildings and cultural heritage of the district so that the future generation will be familiar with the history, culture and lifestyle of this area. In this regard, Director General Walled City Authority Lahore Kamran Lashari visited Faisalabad on the invitation of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali and visited various monumental buildings across the district and reviewed their architectural restoration issues. Assistant Commissioner (City) Shamaila Manzoor, Assistant Commissioner Jardanwala Umardraz Gondal, Additional DGFDA Aamir Aziz, CEO Education Ali Ahmed Sayan, Chief Officers Sardar Naseer, Naeemullah Waraich, Madam Bazla and other officers were also with him. Deputy Commissioner and DG Walled City Government Pakistan Model High School Rail Bazar, Mandir Birun Jhang Bazar, Qila Gift Fund Trust District Kachhari, Allama Iqbal Library, District Council, Muslim High School Tariqabad, Khalsa College Madina Town, Haveli Bhagat Singh and other historical places were discussed and there the necessary issues of restoring and preserving the original authenticity of buildings and parts were discussed. DG Walled City Authority said that the purpose of maintenance of historical and cultural heritage is to secure the civilization of the region. Faisalabad in this regard (Formerly Lyallpur) بھی تاریخی و ثقافتی اہمیت کا حامل ہے جس میں تاریخی و روحانی شخصیات کی یادگاروں اور دیگر ثقافتی ورثہ کا پائیدار بنیادوں پر تحفظ بے حد ضروری ہے۔ اسی سلسلے میں فیصل آباد کا دورہ کرکے تاریخی و یادگار عمارتوں کی موجودہ صورتحال کا جائزہ لیا جارہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ثقافتی ورثہ کسی بھی علاقے کی تاریخی شناخت اور طرز زندگی کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔آئندہ نسلوں کو اپنی تہذیبی جڑوں سے آشنا کرنے کے لئے فیصل آباد کی تاریخی عمارتوں‘ مقامات و دیگر ثقافتی نشانیوں کی حقیقی شکل میں بحالی اور تحفظ کے لئے اقدامات کئے جائیں گے اور اس میں لائلپور سے پیار کرنے والوں کی گہری دلچسپی قابل تحسین ہے۔ انہوں نے جنگ آزادی کے ہیرو سردار بھگت سنگھ کی حویلی کا دورہ کرکے حویلی مالک کی طرف سے اس کی شناخت برقرار رکھنے کے اقدام کو سراہا۔انہوں نے حویلی کی ری ڈیزائنگ اور عمارت کو خوش شکل بنانے کے لئے اردگرد کے علاقے کو بھی احاطہ میں شامل کرنے کی تجویز دی جبکہ دیگر تاریخی و ثقافتی عمارتوں کی بحالی و تحفظ کے لئے طریقہ کار‘ ڈیزائنگ کے حوالے سے دیگر تجاویز پر غور و خوض کیا گیا۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر محمد علی نے کہا کہ لائلپور کی تاریخ و ثقافت کو اجاگر کرنے کی سرگرمیوں کو جاری رکھا جارہا ہے اور اس سلسلے میں سماجی شعبے بھی دلچسپی لے رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ لائل پور ہیٹریٹج فاؤنڈیشن کے زیر اہتمام بھی ثقافتی و تاریخی ورثہ کی مختلف عمارتوں و یادگاروں کی تعمیراتی بحالی‘ تحفظ اور آرائش کے منصوبوں پر کام کیا گیا تھا جسے مربوط منصوبہ بندی کے ذریعے آگے بڑھایا جارہا ہے۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ ثقافتی ورثہ کی حفاظت اور شہری خوبصورتی کے منصوبوں میں مقامی صنعتکاروں اور ثقافتی ورثہ سے محبت کرنے والے شہریوں کی شمولیت قابل ستائش ہے جن کی معاونت سے ثقافتی ورثہ کا تحفظ کریں گے۔
