Jamaat-e-Islami will not support the government in the Army Act, Siraj-ul-Haq

Lahore(94 news) Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that Jamaat-e-Islami will support the principles of the Army Act and not the government. حکومتیں تبدیل ہوتی رہتی ہیں، وزیراعظم کسی بھی وقت پسند اور ناپسند کی بنیاد پرفیصلہ کرے گا جس کی بنیاد پر ادارے کمزور ہونگے۔ If the government would have enacted the same legislation before November 15, it would have been in the interest of the institution. We have taken an oath to protect the constitution of Pakistan, whoever has taken an oath to protect the constitution is required by his faith to fulfill his oath. According to us, the interests of the country and the nation are more important than the interests of the party. It is never in the interest of the country and the nation to rush the constitution. Pakistan needs to be removed from the ideology of necessity. When decisions are made under the theory of necessity, after some time its disadvantages come to light and the nation has to face embarrassment. Major opposition parties supported the government on the Army Act. At that time, PTI, Muslim League (The) And the People's Party are on the same page, it is a good thing that the two major opposition parties are on the same page. Now these three parties should be united to get the country out of the mire of inflation, poverty and economic problems. It is the duty of the parties in power to try to get the country out of the mire of problems. Why can't they unite to solve the problems of the people who are united for their interests? Strangely enough, they are both one and the same.
He expressed these views while addressing the Senate session and later talking to media representatives outside the Parliament. Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan was also present on this occasion. Senator Sirajul Haque said that we need a talented and powerful army in view of the situation in the region. India, which has eight times more army than Pakistan, is threatening us every day. is We assure that the whole nation will stand by its army and step by step for the protection of Pakistan in any moment of trial. When Bangladesh was being formed, 10,000 workers of Jamaat-e-Islami had sacrificed their lives for national defense along with the army to save Pakistan from disintegration. Thousands of our workers lost their lives in Occupied Kashmir. He said that we want one Pakistan and not two.
