Conducting training workshop for minority citizen representatives, special participation of Director Social Welfare


Faisalabad(94 news) Youth Development Foundation organized a four-day training workshop for Minority Civic Agents in which Minority Civic Agents from 16 Union Councils participated. Khaleda Rafique Director Social Welfare appreciated YDF's commitment to addressing the issues of service delivery to minorities and reiterated full support for their commitment. Parish Priest Reverend Father Khalid Rasheed Asi emphasized the importance of Right to Information and thanked the Punjab Government for its support to the backward class. Atif Ali Khan did Lahore and Faisalabad 16 In Union Councils (MCAs)highlighted the empowerment initiatives, equipping them with the necessary skills of governance and social accountability. Mr. Muhammad Taseef DSP informed the participants about minority rights and against prejudices, which are important for improving the society, Gulnaz in-charge protection center appreciated the community action of the participants and encouraged collective efforts for social betterment. Nargis Sub-Inspector imparted awareness among the participants about minority rights and reducing prejudice. Gurmeet Singh, Social Activist, Lok Vihar Organization, emphasized to the participants the importance of unity and cooperation in building a harmonious society and the importance of minority civic representatives in carrying out these initiatives.
