Commissioner Salut Saeed demanded the Working Women Hostel and Day Care Center from the Additional Chief Secretary

Additional Chief Secretary's directive to provide separate washroom and other basic facilities for women in all departments

Faisalabad (94 news) A video link meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Punjab. Commissioner Salut Saeed participated through video link.

In the meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary at least for the establishment of working women's hostel 15 Directed the identification of public and private buildings containing rooms. He said that a working women's hostel should be established in every district. The Additional Chief Secretary emphasized the need to ensure separate washroom facilities for women in all departments and emphasized the provision of basic facilities for women in all departments. The Additional Chief Secretary directed to set up day care center in every department within one month. In this context, the available room along with washroom in the department should be allocated for day care center.

Commissioner Faisalabad informed about the dire need of establishment of working women hostel and said that there is only one working women hostel in the district. He said that women are represented in every department/institution, in view of which the establishment of day care center apart from working women hostel is very necessary.
