Faisalabad Metrobus, Transport Punjab team inspects Metro Bus Service routes,

Faisalabad(94 news) A team of Punjab Transport Department officers headed by Managing Director Mass Transit Authority Kanwar Anwar Ali Khan inspected the routes for the proposed metro bus service project. Nespak engineers also accompanied him. Chief Engineer FDA Mehrayub welcomed the officials of Punjab Transport Department and briefed them about the proposed routes of Metrobus service. Deputy Directors Engineering Umaraqbal and Muhammad Imran were also present on the occasion. The officials of Punjab Transport Department started the inspection of the proposed routes from Motorway Interchange Sargodha Road and they visited various places on Sargodha Road, Nalka Kohala Stop, Lathani Palli Chowk, Allied Hospital Mor, Bole Di Jhagi, Jamia Chishtiya Chowk, Lari Adda, Gumti Chowk outside Rail Bazar, Montgomery Bazar, Dujkot Road, Novelty Bridge and Sea Road. Inspected the roads of other areas and reviewed some technical and technical issues regarding the routes. MD Punjab Mass Transit Authority Kanwar Anwar Ali Khan said that the Punjab government is aware of the needs of urban transport for intra-city travel in Faisalabad and the difficulties of the citizens, in this regard the mega project of metrobus service is being planned keeping in mind the challenges of the future. He said that for this project, a complete study of the local needs related to travel, road conditions, traffic pressure and other technical issues has been proposed by the Asian Development Bank and certain routes are being thought of so that the planning and designing can be comprehensive and far-reaching in all respects.
