Sewerage and water supply complaints should be resolved on a priority basis, MD Wassa Sohail Qadir Cheema


Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) WASA Managing Director Sohail Qadir Cheema has directed to address the sewerage and water supply complaints on priority basis while clarifying that WASA's free helpline 1334 It is active 24 hours a day and citizens can register their complaints on this number which will be resolved as per the stipulated time frame. He further said that during the monsoon season, drainage is being completed in a short time for which all WASA operations staff are continuously performing their duties while dewatering sets, scrubber machines and other machinery are kept fully operational. MD Vasa said that the complaints of the citizens are being responded to immediately and all resources are being utilized by taking special measures for its redressal. He added that Vasa's free helpline 1334 Working as per a coordinated and systematic procedure which must resolve the complaint filed within the stipulated time which is being worked on with full spirit. MD WASA Sohail Qadir Cheema clarified that during the rainy season, never throw solid waste, debris, plastic bottles, shopper and other items in urban sewer lines, drainage channels and main channels because doing so creates sewage blockage which causes sewage problems to the citizens while increasing the work load on the WASA field staff, so citizens should avoid doing this.
