Deputy Commissioner angry over poor performance of price control magistrates


Faisalabad(94 news) Deputy Commissioner Ali Shehzad expressed his anger on the poor performance of some price control magistrates and asked the price control magistrates to pay minimum daily. 50 It has ordered inspections and a fine of Rs 3,000 and said that those overcharging for essential goods, especially sugar, should be fined. In this context, the performance should be visible.
He issued this order while presiding over a meeting of Price Control Magistrates. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the individual performance of the Price Control Magistrates and clarified that there should be no exception to the vendors who charge arbitrary prices. He directed to strictly prevent overcharging of sugar in the markets and said that those who do not sell sugar as per the rate list should be sent to jail so that the consumers get relief. He directed to bring those who do artificial inflation under the strict grip of the law by tracking them. He said that he will monitor the performance of the price control magistrates himself and there will be no exemption from inspections and fines and those who do not take action against the high street vendors.
