Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Nuclear Institute for Agriculture and Biology (Sensitive) By sharing ”Increases animal production capacity by Heat Sponge Technology” A one-day training workshop for veterinary experts and field workers was held in the conference room of Civil Veterinary Hospital Faisalabad. This training program was held under the chairmanship of Director Livestock Dr. Syed Nadeem Badr while Additional Director Livestock District Faisalabad, Dr. Muhammad Qaiser Khaliq and Additional Director Livestock District Chiniot and Dr. Eugene Sohail also participated in the workshop. Deputy Directors Livestock, Senior Veterinary Officers, Veterinary Officers, Artificial Insemination Technicians and Progressive Breeders of Faisalabad Division participated. Dr. Rehana Kausar, Principal Scientist NIAB gave a detailed briefing on the utility, correct use of heat sponge technology and its role in improving animal reproductive performance.

He also shared his experiences with the participants. Dr. Tariq Hussain, Principal Scientist NIAB Small Animals of this technology (crowd up) In his address, Director Livestock Dr. Syed Nadeem Badr said that the development of the livestock sector is indispensable to meet the nutritional needs of the growing population of Pakistan. He emphasized that the responsibility of bringing the innovations of the research institutes to the practical level lies with the veterinary doctors and field workers who are playing an effective role in this mission. Faiq Rehman and Rana Adeel Sarwar, the well-known progressive Bakri Pal of Faisalabad Division, also participated in the workshop and informed the participants about their valuable experiences. At the end of the event, Deputy Chief Scientist NIAB Dr. Uzmi Maqbool expressed his desire to hold more such training workshops in the future while thanking all the distinguished guests and participants.
