Faisalabad(94 news) The district administration has announced a plan of action to ban the use of helmets for motorcyclists as part of safety measures, according to which it has been declared mandatory for every motorcyclist to wear a helmet from Monday, November 25. In this regard, a meeting on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali, Additional Deputy Commissioner(General)It was held under the chairmanship of Mian Aftab Ahmed, in which CTO Sardar Mohammad Asif and other officers and representatives of petrol pumps of the city participated. During the meeting, it was decided that from Friday, November 22, from Jinnah Colony Gate to Allied Motor Sargodha Road, it will not be possible to drive a motorcycle without wearing a helmet on the prison road. Violation can result in a heavy fine and his motorcycle can also be impounded. The president said that due to head injuries in motorcycle accidents, precious lives are lost, so wearing helmets should be used on the roads to ride motorcycles, which is in the interest of motorcyclists to avoid fatal accidents. He told the owners of petrol pumps that they should never sell petrol to motorcyclists without helmets. He said that any kind of fake recall related to not giving petrol to motorcyclists without helmets will not be tolerated because the purpose of strict ban on helmets is not to disturb anyone but it is an important precautionary and safety measure to save lives from accidents.
