Immediate steps will be taken for the appointment of Specialists/Doctors in Cardiology, Commissioner

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Steps have been taken to optimize the treatment facilities at Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology. Commissioner Faisalabad Maryam Khan visited the FIC and held a meeting with the hospital administration on important issues and steps to solve them. She said that immediate steps will be taken to appoint specialists/doctors in cardiac surgery and cardiology. Medical machinery, new OPD block, staff accommodation, expansion of emergency and pathology lab will be transferred. He said that the hospital should be made a champion in terms of providing modern treatment facilities to heart disease patients. He said that the available machinery should be functional in all situations. The public should be provided with quality diagnostic facilities at low fees. He ordered to use the available resources wisely. The commissioner assured full support to solve the problems faced by FIC. Superintendent and other officers were also present.
