District Quality Control Board meeting, decision to send cases of 9 medical stores and supplies to drug court


Faisalabad (94 news) The District Quality Control Board decided to send the cases against 9 medical store owners and attai doctors to the Drug Court for trial for various violations of the Drug Act, while adjourning the cases of 8 medical stores/clinics for warning two and verifying the required documents.
Additional Deputy Commissioner under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali(General)Overall in the district quality control board meeting held under the chairmanship of Mian Aftab Ahmed 19 Violations of medical stores/clinics were reviewed against which inspection reports were prepared by drug inspectors. CEO Health Dr. Mushtaq Sapra, Secretary Board Arif Shehzad, Deputy Public Prosecutor Sajila Nazir, Member Committee Captain Dr. Muhammad Sadiq, Ghulam Sarwar, Drug Inspectors Khalid Mustafa Wadhar and representative officer of Punjab Police were also present during the meeting. It was also decided to maintain the cell. The president meeting while reviewing the overall performance of the drug inspectors said that the duties should be carried out in a responsible manner to bring those who play with human lives to justice and eradicate this heinous act.
He said that it is very important to wipe out those who spread diseases under the guise of treatment, so by conducting a comprehensive crackdown, bring the elements involved in this heinous act under the grip of the law. He also directed the sellers of narcotic drugs to be brought under the strict grip of the law. In addition to specially checking the operation of joint, maternity, eyes and other diseases, those who are treated by fake doctors by installing qualified doctor board should be strictly held accountable and their advertising should also be prevented.
