The Pakistan Society of Food Scientists and Technologists strongly condemns the violence against the staff of Punjab Food Authority


Faisalabad(94 news) The meeting of Majlis administration of Faisalabad sub-chapter of Pakistan Society of Food Scientists and Technologists was held under the chairmanship of President Dr. Ahmad Deen. In which the problems, difficulties and daily complaints faced by food technologists were discussed and especially the incident of torture, verbal abuse and interference in the performance of government affairs by the officers of Punjab Food Authority in Kasur district was strongly condemned. (Honors) No matter how much the mistreatment of the factory owners condemns the graduates of food technology, this meeting demands the Punjab government and every district administration to make special arrangements for the protection of all the employees of the Punjab Food Authority. Those who sell substandard food in the society do not deserve any concession. The case to be registered by the police in Kasur should also include provisions against selling substandard goods, interfering in government affairs and torturing employees so that the deprivation that is flourishing among Punjab Food Authority officers who are working under one jurisdiction can be eradicated.
