We will not let the inflation mafia exploit the people, Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed

Faisalabad (94 news) Provincial Excise and Taxation Minister Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed has said that the sale of essential commodities at the officially fixed prices will be ensured in all cases and the inflation mafia will not be allowed to exploit the people arbitrarily. He said this while checking the prices of food items at various markets and stores on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali also accompanied him while Assistant Commissioner City Zoha Shakir and the staff of Market Committee were also present.

صوبائی وزیر اور ڈپٹی کمشنر ماڈل بازار جھنگ روڈ‘ ایس بی سٹور جھنگ روڈ اور دیگر علاقوں میں بازاروں و سٹورز پر گئے اور پھل‘ سبزیوں‘ دالوں‘ چاول‘ بیسن‘ آٹا‘چینی و دیگر اشیائے خورد و نوش کی مقرر کردہ قیمتوں کے مطابق فروخت کو چیک کیا۔ انہوں نے دکانداروں سے بعض پھلوں و سبزیوں کے ریٹس دریافت کرتے ہوئے تاکید کی کہ نرخناموں کے مطابق ہی اشیاء فروخت ہونی چاہیں بصورت دیگر جرمانوں اور دیگر سزاؤں سے گریز نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے ایس بی سٹور میں کچھ اشیاء پر نرخناموں کی عدم موجودگی پر وارننگ دی اور اپنی نگرانی میں دالوں و دیگر اشیاء کا وزن بھی چیک کیا۔ صوبائی وزیر نے کہا کہ وزیر اعلی پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار نے بعض اشیاء کی قیمتوں پر سو فیصد عملدرآمد کرانے کی سخت ترین ہدایات جاری کی ہیں اس سلسلے میں وہ ضلع بھر میں مارکیٹوں‘ بازاروں‘ سٹوروں پر اشیائے ضروریہ کی قیمتوں کو چیک کر رہے ہیں جس کا سلسلہ مستقل بنیادوں پر جاری رہیگا۔ انہوں نے صارفین سے اشیاء کی قیمتوں اور کوالٹی کے بارے میں دریافت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ غریب عوام کو ریلیف کی فراہمی پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔

The provincial minister asked the district administration officers to make regular visits to the markets and bazaars to check the prices and catch the overchargers and send them to jail so that no one dares to charge more. The Deputy Commissioner said that the price control magistrates across the district have been mobilized to prevent overcharging while their performance is also being checked continuously. He said that by visiting the fruit and vegetable market early in the morning, the auction process of onions, potatoes, tomatoes and other items is also being reviewed. He said that in order to provide economic relief to the consumers in the Model Bazaar Jhang Road organized by the district administration, essential items are being sold at discounted rates from the general markets, from which the large population is benefiting.
