Negotiations with CEO of private company successful, will fulfill all demands, CEO Rana Sajid

Faisalabad (94News Mian Nadeem Ahmed )Faisalabad Sentry Workers and Supervisors Action Committee took out a protest rally against Faisalabad Waste Management for non-payment of salaries and handing them over to a private company, led by Baba Latif Ansari, Parvez Iqbal Bhatti former Vice Chairman CC2, Shehzad Waseem Pahlwan former Minority Chairman, Lala Robin Daniel, Madam Tahira Anjum, Raja Tomas, Mian Razak Khokhar and Yusuf Adnan. The rally started from the district council and the sentry workers staged a dharna in front of the DC office. Addressing the participants of the rally, the speakers demanded that all daily wage workers should be registered with the Social Security and Old Age Benefit Department. The salary of November and December should be paid 37000 thousand rupees. Baba Latif Ansari Labor National Movement addressed the participants of the dharna and said that the Faisalabad Waste Management Company handed over its 1350 employees to the care company but did not pay their salaries for the previous five months and compensation for Eid-ul-Azha. CO Care Service Rana Sajid came and negotiated in the protest dharna. The leaders said in their demands that they will not allow the permanent work to be handed over to a private company. Punjab Government became the self-in charge of the department. If the institution is to be transferred to a private company, registration with the Labor Department should be made mandatory. Provision of rights and privileges to the employees according to law should be made mandatory. Appointment letters should be issued to the employees, salary of the employees. 42000 should be Rs., annual, casual and medical leave should be given, protection should be provided under EOBI and Punjab Employees Social Security, company should make it compulsory to pay bonus to employees from its savings, group insurance of employees should be provided. The government should count the previous period of service as pensionable service. The supervisor who has been on duty for 10 to 15 years should be reinstated to the previous post, the Christian employees should be paid before Christmas. The employees should be given safety equipment and masks. The protesters dispersed on the assurance of fulfillment of the demands by CO Care Company.
