Hearing on petitions against PKA Amendment Ordinance
Lahore (94 news) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that we cannot compromise on the constitution under any circumstances, let the Supreme Court prove that the constitution is not just a piece of paper.
Talking to the media, Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we were on a mission to press for free and transparent elections, wanted no-confidence motion, electoral reforms and early elections.
"We were closer to achieving our goal, Imran Khan sabotaged electoral reforms," he said.
He also said that Imran Khan's initiative is pushing towards another compromised election, the ray of hope is that the selected has gone, if we cannot implement the constitution in the National Assembly then we should not even think about the supremacy of the constitution.
Bilawal Bhutto met with the legal team along with opposition leaders
On the other hand, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met the members of the legal team along with the leaders of the United Opposition.
According to reports, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Shahbaz Sharif, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and others consulted on legal matters.
It should be noted that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandyal had taken notice of the current political situation on his own, in this regard, the larger bench of the Supreme Court will hold a hearing today.
