In a statement on the social media platform "X", Masoud Al-Badzikian said that the martyrdom of Ismail Khatib is a cowardly move by Israel, and the whole country is mourning over this incident.

It should be noted that earlier Israel claimed that its forces targeted the head of Iranian intelligence in a nighttime airstrike in Tehran.
