President of All Pakistan Private Schools Federation, Kashif Mirza, gave a detailed discussion about the current educational situation in Pakistan and informed about the difficulties faced by the private sector. Representing the private schools, the delegation briefed President Irfan Sheikh Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the issues and conditions faced by the private schools and deliberated on the educational loss caused by the corona virus.
Kashif Mirza added that the Private Schools Federation has prepared and released global standards. With the closure of private schools, PAF and PIF and PIFs, 50%of the educational institutions will be closed and one million people will be unemployed.

A total of 7.5 million Pakistani children have been deprived of their constitutional right to education, of which more than 50 percent are girls. Education is a constitutional right of every child and a constitutional duty of the state under Article 25-A.
Kashif Mirza further said that educational institutions have been opened in countries severely affected by Corona, including China's Wuhan, Brazil, Spain, England, India, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, America, Russia, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Hong Kong, etc.
On this occasion, the Central Secretary of the Federation, Shahid Noor further informed that teachers' salaries and 90% of school buildings are on rent, which are fixed expenses. Closed schools also have to pay utility bills based on the average rate. The Prime Minister should announce an "Educational Relief Package" for the teachers. Instead of canceling the board exams, the exams should be conducted by maintaining social distance, and at this time, about 5000 private schools have been completely closed and many schools are close to closing.
The delegation spoke to President Irfan Sheikh and asked him to take the Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture, Federal Minister of Education into confidence as a leader of civil society and businessmen and talk to him to announce the opening of schools on August 15 to save 7.5 crore students and the private education sector from destruction.
Talking about the online education system, Kashif Mirza said that the system is a flop in our society and children are not getting any benefit and according to the Gallup survey, 74%of parents are also demanding the opening of schools.
Irfan Sheikh agreed with the delegation and assured full support to resolve the issues and said that I am talking to NCOC Chairman Prime Minister, Chief Minister of Education and Asad Umar so that a good way can be found for the country and nation. 15 The education system could be restored by August.
