Tehran (94 news) A terrible explosion occurred in the capital of Iran, Tehran. 19 people died in the blast while many were injured.

According to Iranian media, the explosion took place in a clinic, which badly damaged the building and caused a cloud of smoke to cover the area. The injured persons have been shifted to the hospital.

Speaking to state TV, Deputy Governor of Tehran Hamid Reza said that the explosion was caused by a gas leak.
