AC Samundari Faisal Sultan visits markets and bazaars, heavy fines to gran vendors

Faisalabad(94 news) Assistant Commissioner Marine Faisal Sultan checked the prices of essential commodities by visiting various markets and bazaars.

He reviewed the prices, quality and availability of other grocery items including fruits and vegetables, sugar, flour, meat and on the spot the vendors who did not sell the items as per the price lists. 10 A fine of Rs 1,000 was imposed. He asked the shopkeepers to sell the goods only at the official fixed rates and avoid overcharging otherwise they will not be able to escape the strict grip of the law.
