University of Central Punjab became All Pakistan Women Karate Champion

In competitions held at Government College Women University 13 Universities participated

University of Lahore and Punjab University got the second position while Lahore College for Women University got the third position

Faisalabad (94 news) 9th HEC All Pakistan Women Karate Championship at National Level at Government College Women University 2022-23 Prize distribution ceremony was held in which thirteen teams from different universities of the country participated.

Vice Chancellor GC University Faisalabad was the Chief Guest while other guests included MPA Firdous Roy, former MNA Faizullah Kamuka, Registrar GC Women University Asif Malik, Director Academics Dr. Zal Huma Nazli, Treasurer Ansar Mughal, Controller of Examinations Rizwana Tanveer and Director Sports of other universities.

At the beginning of the event, the karate team of the University of Central Punjab presented an exhibition committee show. Director Sports Fahmida Ayub presenting the annual report of her directorate for the year 2022 I mentioned all the achievements achieved. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Rubina Farooq along with other guests awarded medals and prize money to the winning teams.

In the karate championship, University of Central Punjab won the first position, University of Lahore and Punjab University won the second position, while Lahore College for Women University won the third position. University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Rubina Farooq described physical sports as an important tool to overcome the growing trend of mental stress in the society and in this regard expressed special gratitude to HEC for its special support to make this mega event a success.
