Kashana scandal, the investigation report on the death of the dead key witness Kainat

Lahore(94 News, IP) The Department of Social Welfare Punjab has issued an investigation report on the death of the main witness of the Kashana scandal. According to the details, the current report says that fourteen to fifteen year old Iqra Kainat was sent to Darul Aman Lahore on 12th July 2015 on the orders of the District and Sessions Judge Lahore. Iqra got married to a man named Abid Sanaullah. On December 17, 2019, Baghbanpura police station transferred Iqra to Bilqis Edhi Center, Lahore, where after falling ill, Iqra was transferred from Edhi Center to Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore. In the report of the Department of Social Welfare, Punjab, it is claimed that Iqra died on February 5, 2020 due to illness.

It should be noted that on February 8, Iqra Kainat, the main witness of the Kashana scandal, died mysteriously in Lahore. Afshan Latif, the former superintendent of Kashana, demanded an inquiry into the death.
